Talking about old songs. I like the \"Courtesy\" song, \"Courtesy is for free, courtesy is for you and me. It makes for pleasant living and harmony....\" something like that....

Aiyoh! My husband sings it as \" ka-chiak see is for free, ka-chiak see is for you and me. \" I think ka-chiak see means cockroach shit? This is what he learnt from his elite boys school in those days.

      :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

i thought cockroach is kah zhua?

and what about 'Sing your way home' ? there were both english and mandarin versions and the latter was sang by maggie teng...

i love \" Its A Small World \"... there's also a chinese kiddo version which goes something like \"... 红灯一亮我就停, 绿灯一亮可通行,放学快快回家去,平安回家去 \" (chorus part)

they still do sing a couple of old songs like 'planting rice', 'community song' etc.

is this the one which starts off as \" tis I, tis I, tis I who built community (x3).... roll over the ocean, roll over the sea... go & do your part to build community... \" 😉

I don't know that community song. I know the planting rice one though. Does that make me super old or younger than you? :rotflmao:

sounds more like those kung fu sound - \" ka zhaaaaaaaaaaa \" 😂
