what did you people put for the section A last question, the one on the springs. ( science paper)

Verysuperkiasu:
you're right...anyway, already done. can't change anything now.[/quote]Well, I think it's co2 because if I'm not wrong the diagram shows the plant being placed in a sealed beaker so co2 will run out. And there is already water in the beaker for the plant to use for photosynthesis. Anyway,
The question is focus one which one is depleted more and faster, not on which is needed more.ngbrdad:

CO2 is needed more than water. Maybe the HOD didn't read the question/see the diagram properly?
We probably can only get a fair idea if we see the proper question.
The HOD could have misinterpreted the question by whoever.

Peter Parker:
2 HODs from 2 different schools misinterpreted the question ?

If so I'm a bit worried about the standard of our primary science education. -
Can anyone remember the exact question for the MCQ last question?

Can anyone remember the exact question for the MCQ last question?
All I can remember is that the question is about 4 springs P,Q,R,S where P and Q are tied to a block or an object, R and S are tied to that same object in another set-up and Q and S was tied to the same object as well in a third set-up. The question was asking either for the length of the various springs or the extension or something like that. ( not quite sure )
And I also remember that my answer was option 1, where P was the shortest followed by Q,R then S. -
Yah. I also think my Ds’s answer is correct as there is a sufficient amount of water in the beaker. Thus, it is impossible for the plant to finish absorbing all the water in a short amount of time. It should be carbon dioxide.

I sure hope u r right coz my son wrote CO2 as the answer -

I just want to clarify with all of you on some questions.
What did your put for question 29 on the amount of light that pass through the objects, the friction question in paper 1, question 6 on what does the green plants make and give out.
