I think the walk to RI (sec) is pretty far from either Bishan or Marymount station leh. Must allow time for that. Marymount station is pretty close to the RI (JC).

I got this from SMRT journey planner:
              MRT/LRT Train Service
Walk to and board at CLEMENTI (EW23) MRT STATION (0m away)

Alight at MARYMOUNT (CC16) MRT STATION and walk to your destination (38m away)

              Travel Time = 46 minutes
              Total CEPAS (ez-link) card fare = S$ 1.83
              Total cash fare = S$ 2.10
Total trip distance = 22.7 KM
That timing is probably using the old route ie Clementi to Payar Lebar then change circle line to Marymount.

The new section of the circle line is not even on SMRT's website yet. 😆

So JC and secondary section different assembly time ?

Will all gates be opened in the morning ?
Maybe easier to walk if they enter thru the gate nearest to the MRT and walk inside the school instead of along the road outside.

yup, walk in from marymount stn (same side as school) at jc side and through to rajaratnam block, quite a distance though, 650 meters, assuming walking along foot path and along corridors within school compound, zig zag distance, from onemap

The principal needs to be present at both assemblies mah, cannot start at the same time.
Yes, if taking the circle line and alighting at Marymount station, there is a covered walkway to the JC side gate. You can open the side gate using your ds ezi link card. Then you can cut thru the JC side to the sec side, all sheltered walkway.
