We are also deciding on CHIJ Toa Payoh, Xinmin, St. Margeret.
I heard that some rumours of some of the CHIJ Toa Payoh's students. Rumours were mostly found in Secondary/IP Schools - Academic Preparation & Support. Can anyone check if those are true ? It is supposed to be a good Secondary... :siao: -
Can someone tell me how to appeal for a school? What do we need to bring when we appeal for a school? And when do we know the results for the appeal for a school? Pls help TIA

On registration day the school bus uncles will all be at the schools offering their services. For sec schools, they usually offer only one trip to school becoz dismissal time is too unpredictable.
Hi, this is papaya99's DM. Thanks a lot for yr info. DS got CO from NUSHS, WL from HCI. Can't decide whether shld let DS follow his heart to go NUSHS or follow the crowd to HCI. We heard from his seniors that HCI students hv to study very hard, very competitive, dun know good for him or not.
Made up your mind to accept the CO ?ngbrdad:

Hi, I need to know the bus to NUSHS ... I stay in bukit panjang ... Any such buses from bt panjang to NUSHS ? Mostly likely going there ....
You can call up the school office and they will probably give you the contact no of the school bus operator. -
The adaptation Qn on penguin (black colour / in a group) is also not covered in the guide books.
As if! Science Interactions textbook, pg 59, there is a graphic of a polar bear. There is a mention of colour combination of the black skin used by the bears to absorb heat and keep warm. :pokeeye:mSame concept -

Congrats.

Tough choice.
Both have their merits.
Still have around 2 weeks to think it over. -
Tinkerbelle:
2 of them got CO for RGS. and Heard the 3rd Gal is Very Good in Study - So did Not even bother to try DSA
Hi Funx3,Funx3:
She's went Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery Reluctantly to the 1st training session yesterday afternoon, and ....
Ends up sharing PSLE Papers Talk with her New Frens in P6 ( 3 of them Turn Up, from diff Pri Sch ....)
At least she's Smiling .... And Not Bao-Gong Face at the end of the Session

Good to hear your DD enjoyed her first gym training session, albeit reluctantly. She sure made friends quickly. Are they all going to RGS too? If so, your DD already got kaki for next yr...
Yes, if the 2 of them not change their mind, shd have 2 kaki

Hi Brenda,Brenda10:
Hi Brenda,
Will you be planning a short getaway too?
Hi Tinkerbelle,
May be.
Later will go and look around for some short trip during the PSLE marking day.
That sounds nice. Found anywhere interesting? :imanisland:
The PSLE marking days are a good time to go...keke...won't be too crowded as most kids will be preparing for their SA2 so won't be going on holidays during that period....
:imanisland: Haven't visit this for so long. Hello Tinklebelle, if no need to prepare younger kids for SA2, those marking period is really a good time for getaway , too bad I can't

Sigh.
Now having problem to motivate DS2 to study instead of watching TV.
His P4 SA2 HCL is tomorrow !!!
Compared to DS1 who is thoroughly enjoying himself now, the younger one is more rebellious.
DS1 is playful and may not take his studies too seriously at times.
BUT definitely not as rebellious as his brother who can defiantly refuse to study anymore just prior to an exam.
