Tinkerbelle:
2 of them got CO for RGS. and Heard the 3rd Gal is Very Good in Study - So did Not even bother to try DSA
Hi Funx3,Funx3:
She's went Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery Reluctantly to the 1st training session yesterday afternoon, and ....
Ends up sharing PSLE Papers Talk with her New Frens in P6 ( 3 of them Turn Up, from diff Pri Sch ....)
At least she's Smiling .... And Not Bao-Gong Face at the end of the Session

Good to hear your DD enjoyed her first gym training session, albeit reluctantly. She sure made friends quickly. Are they all going to RGS too? If so, your DD already got kaki for next yr...
Yes, if the 2 of them not change their mind, shd have 2 kaki

Hi Brenda,Brenda10:
Hi Brenda,
Will you be planning a short getaway too?
Hi Tinkerbelle,
May be.
Later will go and look around for some short trip during the PSLE marking day.
That sounds nice. Found anywhere interesting? :imanisland:
The PSLE marking days are a good time to go...keke...won't be too crowded as most kids will be preparing for their SA2 so won't be going on holidays during that period....
:imanisland: Haven't visit this for so long. Hello Tinklebelle, if no need to prepare younger kids for SA2, those marking period is really a good time for getaway , too bad I can't

Sigh.
Now having problem to motivate DS2 to study instead of watching TV.
His P4 SA2 HCL is tomorrow !!!
Compared to DS1 who is thoroughly enjoying himself now, the younger one is more rebellious.
DS1 is playful and may not take his studies too seriously at times.
BUT definitely not as rebellious as his brother who can defiantly refuse to study anymore just prior to an exam. -
ngbrdad:
can understand how hard it is for the 2nd one to concentrate when the first one had finished exams and is enjoying himself. I'm experiencing the exact same thing - my 2nd child (dd) is having her 1st paper - english - tmr. But thank God my ds (just finished psle) is quite accomodating and refrained from watching tv coz of his sister. She is quite easily distracted.Sigh.

Maybe u can motivate him to study by promising him something he likes if he does well. I know for a fact some parents don't agree to this coz it means like 'bribing' the child. but so far it works for me. -
Has anyone ever come across a composition topic on βFireβ for Chinese, I mean. Been trying to scout around for phrases to describe fire scenes in Chinese but to no avail. How to say βThick, black fluffy columns of smoke billowed out of the windowsβ. And βToxic fumes choked my lungsβ in Chinese?
