Was that on top of the compositions that they do? if this is the case, then your kid is definitely more well prepared than mine...sigh

Today is the composition for the P2. Wonder it would be 1 picture or 4 pictures for kid to write.

It had better be the 4 pictures type, as so far all the practises they have in school are as such. They have not been exposed to 1 picture type. Please dont scare me :nailbite: :shock: :scared:

The last compo was dated sometime in May :slapshead: and they only get to do it again just one week before paper 1 and a blur sotong like me, I totally forgot about this compo part till I received the notifications, so I went :yikes:

To make matter worse, my dd's class is having English spelling today :rant: and one more on this Thursday. FYI, her class has been having 2 English spelling each week for the past 2 weeks and I think her FT is struggling to complete the Stellar program.... :faint:

As for the compo that they brought home to do, parents are able to teach and prompt them to edit their work, but when it comes to the real stuff, it all depends on themselves already…

should be the 4 pictures compo. They have not been tested on the 1 picture type. Unless you're talking about the picture conversation for Oral test.

This is really bad rushing the kids through this. Did your dd have a change of teacher? U sure the teacher have time to do spelling since tomorrow onwards they will be having oral exams.

Her FT was on MC for the whole of term 3. They have 2 relief teachers for term 3 hence probably it explains why the FT has to rush thru' the work. I am not saying the 2 relief teachers had done a bad job but I guessed they needed time to get to know the students and somehow the learning process has been affected... :sad:


I have no idea how she's going to give spelling today.... :roll: will hear from dd this evening then... :razz:

My DS passed me a the spelling list which consist of 20 words last night. He told me that his FT will test them for the first 10 words. If I am not wrong, the exam spelling is going to conduct in two weeks time as per last year.

The MT teacher had already completed the last chinese chapter which was chapter 22 last week and this thursday is the spelling. This is good as can start to do revision now. How about the rest of the class?
