My application for indonesia maid is rejected…(we first time apply maid).they say got the maid got passport problem(only tell me after 5 weeks!)…then later gave us excuses that it is because we don’t have income in singapore. (My hubby working overseas, so have paid overseas tax and income)…
How can it happen?Cos we recently do the in principal approval bank loan for property purchase.

Now the agency helped me source for another philipino maid, which can target to reach sgp in 6 weeks. the salary is $450. But she said I have to sign a "Standard Employment Contract" document with the philipino govt so that the govt can release the maid to us. But I will have a seperate contract between me and the maid saying that the salary is $450.

Is it true that I have to sign that contract?;(

Really confused about all these…

Btw ,the "Standard Employment Contract" says the salary is S$600 …

When I first got my maid from the agency, I just need to sign the contract from agency. No need to sign the one from Phil govt. Maybe the rules have changed now or you can call up other agencies to check?

Has anyone selected their maids from the online maid libraries? Quite a few around… Are the descriptions mostly hogwash? Can be trusted? Descriptions a bit too good to be true leh…

Realise that "Big agency" does not mean that they are good. They may have so many cases to work on,that they don’t have time for you…

Hi Moom,agree with you…i recently select the biodata from the agency website…All look too good to be true!! But then, i feel that the online biodata are not updated from my agency…So, what you choose may not be available already…
