Funx3, you may want to buy those play pens from Pet Lovers and confine him to a smaller area. By the way, is he completely house-broken and toilet trained? Any accidents? Mine still occasionally pees or poos out of the pee pan, though her preference is still pooing in the park. I use 2 poo bags a day as she poos outside twice a day.

Still got Pee Accidents Once or Twice a Day ....
And He still Poo-Poo in one Particular spot in the Kitchen ....

You must be firm with you dog and set rules and boundaries for him before he gets out of hand. Stop him from chewing. If you catch him chewing, pull off the item and replace with the chewable toy. This will teach him that he cannot chew those you took away and that he's supposed to chew on the toy.

I've learnt my lesson from my old dog and am very careful with what I do and say with this new dog now. I've been reading a lot lately too.

Do get hold of Cesar Milan's book and have a read. He's really good! You can also watch his videos on YouTube. Hes known as the Dog Whisperer. DD and I watched a lot to educate ourselves.

I have actually Scolded him and Hit his little bottom whenever I found him chewing the Off-Bound Items. Then he Will sit or Lie Down and Look Really Remorsefully (I Think ) at Me ....

But Just as Forgetful as Me ....
A While Later he Will start Pulling out other items out to .... Chew Again!

We R Eagerly awaiting the Day we could do that!

But ....
It is Off the Recommended Activities for Now.
We R Advised not to go out with him till he's 6 months old. Coz he's still young and have low immunity.

And he does not like to go out. We often playfully call him to go out at the Door steps, and without fail, he will back off and Run to the Kitchen / Living Room ....

Has your puppy taken its 4th month vaccination? You can take him out for walks a week or so after his final vaccination. His immunity would have developed enough then. Don't wait until 6 months to take him out because it's not good for him socially. He needs to interact with other doggies and humans or he'll develop social anxiety problems and become fearful or aggressive towards other dogs/humans. Also, taking him out allows him to be exercised properly which is v important for dogs, even little ones.

My friends told me to clean up the areas that they pee and pooped with white vinegar. This will totally remove the smell and they will never pee and poo there again. I'm also going to buy the vinegar this weekend.
