I think nowadays the sec sch do not accept based on these Maths Olympiad awards anymore. This MO is more related to academic, and if it is academic, they might as well wait for your overall PSLE score. Afterall, they want someone outstanding in all subjects and not one subject only!
Yes, me too. Used to be that SMOPS Platinum would be assured of a place in RI/HCI/NUSH. Then it became an offer by NUSH but rejected by RI. Now not even an offer by NUSH but possibly RI. Guess SMOPS is no longer the golden ticket and you have to get SMOJ. -

I like the sumptuous buffet spread part,
Aiyah maybe that time they worried budget not enough so sent photocopies only.ngbrdad:

Being one of the top top secondary school, it is a good thing to upkeep their administration standard mah
And these type of letters are precious to me so definitely I would wish to keep one tt is original rather then a photostated one
:siam:

Probably have sumptuos bettet spread for the party too.

Yah judging by HAST results released by NJC, even if you are in the top 5% of the HAST test you will not secure a place if you donβt meet whatever other criteria they are looking for.
By releasing the HAST results they may make some already upset parents even more upset. -

Agreed. It seems that now if the students do not have the specific talent that the schools are looking for, the schools would rather wait to admit them based on T-score.

Hi, wow, over a 1000+ pages of discussion!
Am hoping to get some advices from the experienced parents here.
For those who have used or tried using DSA via SPORTS, may I find out more? How do your kids manage to balance between the trainings and schoolwork? When do you know that your kid could have that potential? I understand that it is not easy getting in via sports for DSA and not the best may get chosen, but is there a sports that would seem to be easier than the rest? -
May I know are there any parents who received calls from HCI asking them to put HCI as first choice yesterday? I was just wondering whatβs the reason for calling the parents when theyβve already sent out emails and letters.
