hi all, the MRT is open right? Anybody know if there is a short cut from the school to Caldecott instead of walking along the main road?

hi, the nearest shortcut is walk via marymount kindergarten where there is a side gate. Its still a long walk of 12min where i tried it on tuesday and the gate opens in selected hours. There is only 1 traffic light to cross thou. -
ohdaddy, your girl is takingthe MRT to school?

Hi michyms
Yeah, my contingency plan. Not DD alone, but with her grandma/grandpa. Don't think we doing the school bus plan for now. Either we drop/pick (best), plonk her inside the student care centre (perfect except that there is a looooong wait for spaces from what people say in this forum) and my folks/DD's grandparents might MRT her.LLX04:
Thanks LLX04! Ah selected hours. Hope it means around school starts and ends.

Hi michyms, unfortunately not direct at HV, so we still have to take a 5 min bus ride from HV. But better than nothing!
Will have to do a proper simulation of journey eventually to gauge time. It would be like an adventure with DD! At least that is what I will tell her. -
can'tbearit2, hope your dd gets well soon, and all the best for her SA2!
ohdaddy, I'm sure it'll be great fun for her
I think the journey would be no more than 45 minutes, probably faster than taking a school bus I reckon? -

PM session gals have to be seated in the hall by 12.15pm.
Dismissal time for Mondays - Thursdays is 6.30pm.
Do take note there's early dismissal on Friday @ 5.30pm.
Yes, the side gate that leads to Marymount Kindergarten is open during drop-off & pick-up times.

Really long time no 'see'. Sorry to hear your DD is not feeling well....hope she's feeling better now.
Luckily no lessons for four days next week so your DD can get a good rest & prepare for her first SA2. All the best to your DD. :rahrah:
