Maybe they only send email to register account. They will send us an email when we order, payment received & items shipped out. But you can stil go to the enquiry of your seller site and ask whether have your items been shipped out.

          dasalo:
Cooked on my Ocher pan today. Before using, I rub a layer of oil than heat it lightly. Leave it to cool before washing with soap n water.

I get a very nice fragrant just from frying ginger. I can't tell the difference in taste or appearance between my former pan n this Ocher except it is easier to wash.
          Not much incentive for me.
          Dasalo,
Thanks for your feedback. Can I check with you if you see any difference between the coating of the Ocher pan vs the normal HPC? Is the weight of the Ocher big difference from the HPC? Did you use a wooden cooking utensils? Btw, where do we get those wooden cooking utensils?

I still have not decided on whether the Ocher or normal HPC. I am afraid of the weight of the Ocher and I actually like the red color of the HPC. Think will look nice in my kitchen. Keep delaying on ordering plus its exam period now so busy with kid's revision. Going to order soon now that there is 6% discount.

I’m very keen to get a pan however, any idea if the rubber seal release any toxic chemical when exposed to high temperature?

Ksme, the difference bet the 2 are

              1) weight 1.6 v 1.9 ( anytime better than LE Creuset)
              2) tendency of not flipping as it is lopsided ie one side thin n other thick.
              3) inside looks brown ( due to clay? Can’t tel if u don’t dissect)
              4) no need wooden utensils. All wooden utensils can be bought at major dept stores

              IMO the normal HCP suffice

                Hi Candyheart,

Just read some articles on silicon tubing on google as i do not have direct answer for you. There are food grade tubing and non food grade tubing. Generally silicon tubing can withstand high temperature (sand is silicon dioxide), but depending on their treatment it may or may not release harmful chemical at slight high temperature. Having to say, i believe HCP silicon tubing is of higher grade material but if it is cooked above a very high temperature said 200 Celsius, it is hard to say as some good tubing, it can withstand temperature from -70 to 350 Celsius.

Talking about sealer, i like to feedback on 99miles,the sealer that 99miles is selling or as gift is of a lower grade and they claim their is happycall original. After i posted the premium reviews, i can see that i am not the only one who have the same issue. The pan is authentic, the sealer is not better of buying from other like SGShttp://tinyurl.com/happycallsgs where the pan are new and came with the hook hole

I am deciding between the deeper ocher pan & Jumbo grille one. Jumbo is slightly heavier & more costly. How abt the taste & texture of food? Anyone knows?

                    hi dasalo and kmse,

Ocher is a form of clay in brown colour, it is good in removing odors from fishes. Ocher Happycall Pan main differences is the ocher layer and 5 layer ceratinium coating that is more resistant to scratch, abrasion and corrosion.

ocher deeper n happycall deeper same price, so most will pick the earlier. Jumbo the grills side is more for meat and vegetable cooking on the other thiner side. Grills side will conduct away the excess oil from oily meats and give nice grill, grill side also will not charred the meat from no oily meat. If you are cooking tofu and vegetable, not really suitable to get jumbo, as they will "swim around" when you flip as one side of the pan is deeper than the other. Standard HCP can fit a 2kg chicken, i am using deeper, can’t imagine if i ever used jumbo, maybe turkey?
