      moonee:
Hi Kay22, My girl is in P5 this year, I signed her up when she started P4. Ive asked my girl about their teaching method and she says tat they combine all methods to simplify a problem sum to make it easier for her to manage.

Regarding their fees, I dont hv the exact figure now but was paying something like $700 plus incl tax for P4 and that was for a 1 1/2 hr class. Shes now in P5 and the fees are slightly higher at $751 for a 2 hr class.
      😎
Can I please ask $751 is for how many lessons ? Is there any additional fees like deposit / registration or material ?

My girl is P5 this year. Last year, she scored 94 for her Maths. But this year, it dropped to 74. I am very worried and have been looking around for a tution centre for her. I came across NeuroMath and I’m quite impressed with the various strategies they used to solve challenging Maths problems.

Any of you heard of this tuition centre? Is it good?
        Thanks.

          Hi

P5 Math is a big jump from P4, that could be the reason why your child’s result has dropped.
My son is attending classes at Norman Tien, it’s good for him. And I think kids enjoyed learning the different strategies there.
Just take note that no matter how good the centre is, sometimes not all teaching methods suit every child. No harm trying out to find out.

            Hi!

            Thanks for your reply 😄

Besides teaching strategies, does the centre teach similar questions like in Paper 1?

Most likely I will put her in for P6 as I cannot find a suitable time slot to put her in. Hope they have classes in Nov/Dec.

            Thanks!

I do need some feedback on neuromaths as i like my child to attend the P6 dec 1 week holiday program as he is weak on section C? How is the material and the teachers? I also understand there is a 15% referral rebate for both parties though don’t know anyone there who is planning to join? There r so many places like mathsheuristics, on sponge so need some clear advise? Thank you

My dd did attend one holiday class last year… she seems to like their training and finds their teaching n methods relevant to her school xams. The holiday class is quite beneficial cos it gives yr child an idea of wat to expect frm their normal classes.
