Very diagonally is a current mainstream school, wat. Blackmore. *hehe*. Even when it turns IP in 2013, it'd be dual-track.[/quote]Oh yah. Forgot about that side of the road.
Diagonally across the road is an IP school not mainstream school right?jtoh:

Maybe 2.0 they get warning. I do know some who are getting below 3.0, but not below 2.0 lah. The course is not really THAT difficult for students to be unable to score above 2.0. So for those who do, yeah - they really are not suited for the school's programme. The 2 that dropped out from our kids' cohort - one is currently in mainstream sec school, and another is in sports school. I don't know if there are others. I do know that from the pioneer Sec 1 batch, there is at least 1 who left to mainstream secondary school diagonally across the road.

Think 2.0 is kicked out.

I was told that if you can get minimum 257 to get in, quite unlikely you'll get GPA of below 2.0.
Also the boy that went to sports school actually was not \"kicked out\" per se. He already wanted to goto Sports School so didn't really follow the program with all his heart knowing that he will be going to Sports School... -
Sports school boy GPA was consistently below 2.0 . My subs class so we know. He didn’t do psle.

So nothing to be alarmed ...
So this reinforced my view that if you can achieve the minimum COP for NJC, you should have no problem getting GPA above 2.0 (at least in Year 1 & 2) -

Can don't do PSLE? :?
Does GPA 2.0 mean an average of about 50% for all subjects? Should be very achievable for most students, especially those who scored > COP . -

Actually there was another student in my boy's class. His score above COP. He left in the end on his own accord. He didn't like it.phankao:

Came back from overseas. Don't know how he got into the school - what criteria, etc. Also not sure how he got in sports school for year 2. Strange admission time. hehe.phankao:
