12 Nov is orientation for 2012 P1 student and parent. Is it also an open house? Maybe can try calling the school. There are CCA for the student, you can visit their homepage for more detail. I am impressed with the open house performance put up by the students as well as the student teacher during the classroom experience. Most importantly my gal love the school, that is the main reason why we chose the school for her.

The Open House is normally close to the P1 registration. 12th Nov only for 2012 P1 student with detailed briefing. -
ok, thanks for the info...maybe I'll just hang around outside and 'pester' some parents for information...:P. Parents, pls don't shooo me away if I do approach you for info regarding the school as I'm concerned too. Thanks.

Hi, Horizon is a New school started in 2010 with 4P1, 1P2 and 1P3 classes. So the 1st batch of PLSE will be in 2yrs time. My daughter was in P1 last yr, she had experience Chinese painting, gymnastic, ukulele and tambourine. This year for P2, she had speech & drama, wushu and gymnastic. I heard next year there are 7 CCA for them to choose. So far my daughter is happy going to school everyday and I find most of the teachers approachable. My son's born in 2006 and now I'm looking at the available schools arnd Punggol. Myself stayed opp Horizon and till now, I've yet to see anyone mention much about the academic/CCA/enrichment programmes being offered by Horizon. I noticed (correct me if I'm wrong) there isn't any CCA. Why is this so? May I know when will the 1st batch graduate? I guess their PSLE result will be the yard stick to gauge the school's achievement, right? I'm all for Horizon but my wfy's apprehensive about it. Do you think it's possible to pop in during the open house (12 Nov? ) univited?

Hi, So far there is no restriction for school bags. But please note that the school hall and classrooms are in level 2 and the indoor sport hall is at level 4 ( I think), so imagine if their 1st lesson is P.E. Then the poor kids will have to hand carry the trolley bag when climbing the stairs. (Some trolley bag can be quite heavy by itself.)
I am excited about Primary one!

and they were preparing booklist to be sent out to parents by tmrw....

It Monday and Wednesday, at 3.30pm for all level this year. Not too sure abt next year. Should be able to know on orientation day. -
