Yes tuition. We've onsponge & Ammiel's book. dh refers to these 2 books & selectively coach dd some concept. Although dh can coach but he is so inconsistent, can go for weeks without touching on Maths. Cannot wait for him.
Rather than having 100% load on dh to coach dd, my dd attends group tuition. Quite frequently got stuck doing tuition homework especially those challenging top schools exam papers. Class size is rather huge so teacher couldn't address every child & every question.
dh will go through with dd those sums she couldn't solve, more manageable for him to coach this way. And in case both of them stuck, can fall back on tuition teacher again

Yeah, I used to buy 3 brand new assessment books for CA1, SA1 and SA2. Now that I've a tutor, those books I have are quite white elephants bcos tutor uses her materials. :moneyflies: :moneyflies:hi parents

Ok...off topic for a while.
My son asked me to get the graphic stimulus comprehension by rosemary Allen. I told him next year his time is very tight. So be more careful when he attempts that section. I am scared of buying anymore assessment books for him. -

my girl attends tuition too and i limit my assessment books to only about 3 and also top schools exam papers. Tuition not much homework yet (for P1 level) so still manageable. so i must make sure i choose these 3 assessment books really wisely  This forum helps me a lot in shortlisting :boogie: -
My dd doesn’t do any assessment book at home. The assessment books are for dh to study, then go through concept with dd. And dh may test her 1 or 2 questions to confirm she understands.
She doesn’t do additional top school papers at home either, only attempted those given by tuition center.
