        Ooptimizer, Thank you.
Any parents of CSS students / CSS students can share with me on the CCAs in the school-which are popular ones, how frequently trainings are held, etc. My DD is worried about being able to cope with sec school studies and cca trainings.

my daughter is in commonwealth.. she got 239 last year.. manage to squeeze in.. her frenz got 238, appeal then can go in but need put as first choice then better chance.. good school, should be one of the best in west side after River valley..

how about hwa chong, NJC, Nanyang, SCGS, MGS?
They are all in the west side.

the minimum cut-off for commonwealth is 237 in 2010, anyone has in past experience tried going commonwealth basing on appeal at a lower score? I am staying near commonwealth secondary and my son is taking psle this year. hope he gets at least 240 so, sure to go in. 🙏

hi, one of my kids need to attend an activity at Commonwealth Sec school and needs to get home on public transportation.

Can someone advise me whether my kid could take a bus to Jurong East MRT station at the bus stop in front of the school or is it necessary to cross the road to the opposite bus stop ?

                thanks for any advice 🙂

Board bus 79 and 143 at Opposite Pandan Primary School (20209), Teban Gardens Road in about 7 min. Alight at Jurong East Interchange, Jurong East Street 13, 7 stops later.

But I think at bus stop in front of the school, Svc 143 and 78 end their routes at Jurong East Interchange / MRT station...Can someone or a current commonwealth student help verify this ?
                    Thank u !

There are discipline talks to parents n students, I presume the school emphasizes on it which is good…

Sec 1 is having various CCAs audition this week and next week

Its niche is performing arts and sports are limited.
