You must be kidding...'slow absorption of knowledge' ? I think you can sit for Science exam and get A*.
        Dear Janet,

        Mummy SAHM_TAN,
  I have to do a lot of reading to be able to \"catch-up\" with those challenging questions in the assessment books and those past year exam questions! 😓 😓

I hope I still have this kind of stamina to last me through till DD1 is P6 then the cycle goes back to DD2, who will be P3 then and :slapshead:

When son is done with PSLE next year, it will be another 4 years b4 my girl sits for hers...by then, the standard will be much tougher. Won't dare think so far, just focus on tasks for now...that is SA2 revision !!!
Next week, will get some chapters in Science Explorer done.

              Hi Champion,

I’m so happy son has finished all the P5 Science assessment, ‘cells’ was the last chapter this morn from Oxford title (cover has 2 squirrels)…now short of past year papers and going through those ‘must memorize’ answers before the exam…was a little stressed this morning as it’s Wed already.

No worries & no stress on yourself - your DS will make it for the SA2 - esp with you - the dedicated and hardworking mummy that stands by him always! :rahrah: :rahrah:

I am hoping :xedfingers: that he can score in Section A MCQ...maybe 50/60 kind of results...that itself is something I can only hope for bcos his carelessness is very worrying. As for OE section, now making him memorize some FAQ.

                    Hi Mummies,

A friend told me her son's enrichment centre offered 2 crash programs for Science - process skills and something I can't remember. She wanted to just take 1, but naturally the principal of the centre said it's advisable to take both as they are EQUALLY impt...literally building on kiasu-cum-worried parents.

Process skills is indeed a skill to be learnt. I'm still hoping that hubby & I can coach son in his Science till end of PSLE :nailbite: scary but no money for tuition in another subject.

'My Pals' Process Skills are not bad... sorry if I've mentioned it before...getting old liao.
