              I had a chick as pet when i was young.. n yes.. when the chick grows up my granny cook it for all to eat.. i was so devastated i cried n haf phobia eating chicken till i was in pri 3.. even eggs i had phobia eating it.. as the smell or look at it will remind me of the chick i had..

              But now.. i LOVE to eat chickens.. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

                      Chicks are so cute - if only they don’t grow up. Keeping chick is fun. Hatching chick is even more fun. Did it for my kids long time ago. It was a great science lesson :

                      1. seeing the embryo moving by shining a torchlight from the other side of the eggs
                      2. the importance of turning the egg everyday
                      3. never to help the chick to break the shell
                      4. not knowing what to do when they become cockerels and crow at 5 am every morning without fail.

                        Coolio! Where did you get your fertilised egg? How do you keep egg incubated at optimum temperature. I am keen to try this.
