          plum-cake ah,

2 science assessment books should exclude guides. For a start, 1 guide book and 1 assessment book is enough. I guarantee that you will add some more to your collection every 6 months (when we rushed to Popular to grab last minute revision stuff whenever SAs approaches πŸ˜“)

                  Hi! Plum-cake,
Above are the ones that I use more frequently and faithfully for revision with my DD1. I am a slow-learning mummy so I need more books to :?: πŸ˜‰

For a start, I would recommend (JMOO - Just My Own Opinion) - just buy the Lower Block Ultimate Science Guide & the Longman My Weekly Companion. The LB Ultimate Science Guide notes are quite comprehensive to understand the Science topics. The longman assessment topics are arranged in accordance to topics and by weeks so you can get your DD to work on the particular topic after the school has finished πŸ˜„ .

Just my own experience for sharing; cheers! πŸ˜„

Yup...all levels are separately wrapped in clear plastic.
I forgot to mention the FAQ (lower block)...the questions will give you a rough idea what will be tested and format.

Perhaps you can get 2 assessment for Science to begin with. Then in June, you can decide whether to get another 2 for August and Oct.

                      Hi Plum-cake,

I'm the ultimate kiasu  ...where Science is concerned.
Reason is because I didn't send my son for any enrichment...so when I see new publications and questions being tested in different formats, I will get the book...amassed quite a collection but happy to say most are completed.

If time permits, you may want to check out some titles Champion mentioned (with pics). Also this one by Helen Lee - Lower Block New Syllabus Science Book 1 (EPH).

My son can finish the assessment books as CA1 will test what was taught up till that period...then there is SA1 and SA2. At P5, everything which was taught in P3/4 will be tested...so that kids don't forget anything. I'm not afraid to buy, only afraid I don't have when I need them...to me, that's frustrating.
