1. Which are the 3 or 4 star recommended hotels in Kowloon (pref near to MTR stations)? Also, is there any with family rooms (2 adults + 2 children)?

U can try royal plaza. It's walking distance to mtr n the room is big n comes with 2 double bed.

unless you have 4 pax, else cheaper by train

even a HJ$18 fare can turn out to be HK$30

Travelling by taxi frm Airport to Shamrock Hotel is around HK360-380. I’ve been staying in this Hotel 3x & always take a taxi frm the airport to the Hotel.
