        Hi Champion

Thanks for sharing the topics included in SA2. You are lucky that the school is so diligent and willing to share info so that the kids can be adequately prepared. My DD school doesn't tell what are the topics tested at all. It's quite difficult to prepare her esp for English as I can't figure out what is being taught from the worksheets she brought home just two days before SA2 began. Don't even have time to ask teacher as the two days are over a weekend. Anyway she's already in midst of SA2 so am just keeping fingers crossed and hope for the best.

        Hi Trina,
My Pleasure to share with Club 2002 parents! :grphug:

Oh so your DD is already in the midst of SA2 exams? Wishing her all the best and good good luck luck! :rahrah: :rahrah:

Maybe can feedback this to the FT during the year-end PTM? So the school can take note and make the necessary adjustments next year?

        Thanks Champion!
So glad exams are over. Now keeping fingers crossed on results.

Can't believe that DD1 is already halfway through primary school education. Feels like it was just yesterday that she started P1. 😂

Er…I rlready starting to worry about PSLE. I rather not panic at last minute so trying to address her weak areas in P4 & P5. Otherwise will have heart attack when she reaches P6. And Chinese compo is killing me!! Don’t know why must use so much "flowery" language. What can be said in 1 sentence now requires 3 or more sentences…

Be it Chinese or English Compo - i always have the problem when coming to use \"creative\" or \"flowery\" words! :faint:

So. let's cheers each other! For now, looking forwards to \"close the chapter for P3\" when my DD1 finishes her last paper next Thurs! :rahrah: :rahrah:

I would choose to take things one at a time. Me too is preparing to close the chapter for P3, we all deserve a good break over the Dec holiday before the next chapter starts again next year :imcool:

I also have the same problems for Chineses and English compo writing with no choice we had decided to sent him to creative writing class next year. He was not happy about this but at least we are doing our part to help him, when next year exam coming, we are no need to worry about the writing.

I shared your sentiment Little Patrick, I believe the kids will eventually come to know that all parents have their interest at heart.

I have been sourcing around for English creative writing class around my area mid this year but none of the tuition centre focus solely on creative writing, those recommended ones are quite a distance away. Being a FTWM, I face problem juggling with the class timing, headache…

I am in same dilemma. Sent her to English writing class in first two terms and then discovered her Chinese compo is pulling the overall marks down so switch to Chinese compo class. Still evaluating which classes to send her next year. As a FTWM, it’s quite a challenge to juggle between work and family. Also need to leave some time for hubby and other kids. Am always glad when it’s hols so I can take a breather too

Hi Little Patrick, 711mum & Trina! :grphug:

Guess we all face the same dilemma - being a FTWM and our hands are full (sometimes can describe it as \"overflow\" 😉 ) when it comes to juggle between work, children and family.

We want the best for our children but at the same times we do not want to stress them too much that they lost the interest or too tired with the academic aspect of childhood 🤷

I spoke with a taxi driver the other day on the way home...his children are grown up..so he was listening to my story about bringing up 3 kids. He said,\" Being a mother this generation is really not easy especially now you not only have to send them to school for education but you have to know the syllabus yourself too!\" 🆒
