Hi mark,
I never think so far ...markfch:
I wonder if Trap, php & dyh have the same inkling as me.
What made you think so far like looking after grand children ? Funx3 reminded me the other day about PSLE, sec school, several other milestones before NS. -
markfch:
δΈζθͺζ hahaaa..
Looking at that link, just realised we chalked up 1250 pages during the last year. Who's fault huh?
:siam: -
markfch:
Let me try to make a guess here.. is it because of \"madly, blindly in love\"?
Err, then why you marry her son? Haha, joking, joking. :siam:Mrsbongiz:
Markfch, my in law was a nanny, yet i totally disagree w her on childbringing
Btw how many of us here, at the point of courtship/marriage is well aware that you're not only marrying your boyfriend/girlfriend but also his/her parents/family?
What I mean is that at the point of lovey-dovey courtship, love is blind, the couple's eyes are set for each other, sometimes without realising that once they upgrade from Courtship to Marriage, PIL automatically comes with it

Lol! Not so romantic la. Almost didnt marry dh bcos i felt i cant imagine in laws like dat. But he is not close to his family, so not too bad la. Family culture is too different, so meet only on weekly basis will do

Romantic ? Not in S'pore or Asian context.
Upbringing plays a big part. Meeting them on weekly basis is too much.
Anyway, back to PH.
Tomorrow is Maths SA2...all the best to your kids. PH is known for setting tough papers. Will encourage son to put in his best.

or in Chinese, it says, marriage is the grave of courtship
or, a common wedding joke : telephone ring, then door bell ring, then engagement ring, then wedding ring, then suffering
or, first is friendship, then courtship, and after wedding becomes battleship

Hi verykiasu2010,
I try to reduce the βsuffeRINGβ to the minimum by having little/no contact with them. Otherwise, I would have faced the big D.
Fortunately eldest SIL (wife of eldest son) and I are quite close, so I get to βescapeβ their never-ending nonsense bcos I have a ι ε±±. -
Hi
My kid is not in this school, but i know recently your school changed Math HOD, hmm let me share my 2 cents.... normally he will set 1 or 2 questions as killing question...janet_lee88:
