      Thank you Tian Zhu, please help me with one more question that I got stuck. Q1)

      There were 182 red, blue and green beads in the box. 26 green beads were removed from the box and the ratio of the number of the red beads to the number of blue beads to the number of green beads became 4:3:5. The some yellow beads were added and the ratio of the number of green beads to the number of yellow beads was 13:9. a) what was the ratio of the number of red beads to the number of blue beads to the number of green beads at first? B) HOW Many beads were in the box at the end?

B) HOW Many beads were in the box at the end?
          Hope this helps, solution done by my son.

          After removing 26 green beads; ratio of Red : Blue : Green is 4U:3U:5U

          182-26 = 156

          (4+3+5) units = 156 beads
          12 units = 156
          1 unit = 13

          a) So at first:
          Red : Blue : Green
          4U : 3U : 5U + 26
          52 : 39 : 91
          4 : 3 : 7

          The ratio of the number of red beads to the number of blue beads to the number of green beads at first was 4:3:7
          \t\t\t\t\t
          b) After some yellow beads were added and the ratio of the number of green beads to the number of yellow beads was 13:9

          From above, Green beads is 65

          13 parts = 65
          1 part = 5 beads

          so Yellow is 9 parts

          9 parts = 9 x 5 = 45 beads

          156 + 45 = 201 beads

          Thew were 201 beads in the box at the end.
          😄

            Please use MD to solve the question.

            1080 +[VC] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]

            from above:
            3/5 of her money = 6 units
            1/5 of her money = 2 units

            She spent 2/5 of her money on curtains and a vaccum cleaner.

            2/5 of her money = 4 units
            4U = 1080 +1U
            3U = 1080
            1U = 360

            10U = 360 x 10 = 3600

            Mrs Lim had $3600 at first.

            😄

              Solution provided by my son.

              6/7 of her remaining money = 3/5 of her total money
              1/7 of her remaining money = 1/10 of her total money

              1-3/5-1/10 = 3/10

              She used 3/10 of her total money on curtains :

              3/10 of her total money = 1080
              1/10 of her total money = 360
              10/10 of her total money = 3600

              Mrs Lim had $3600 at first.

              .

                        Question:
                        Lin and Kim baked some cookies.If Lin sells 30 cookies and Kim sells 60 cookies each day, Lin would have 182 cokkies left and Kim would have sold all of her cookies. If Lin sells 60 cookies and Kim sells 30 cookies each day, Lin would have 56 cookies left and Kim would have sold all her cookies.
