SA2 started? After psle, my mind is simply blank!

Dd mentioned today that there would be kindergarten kids coming to the school and the prefects would help out.

Anybody knows what’s d percentage for SA 1 & SA2 to make up the overall? Is the streaming of classes based on SA2 results only or overall? And any experienced parents can share what is the usual percentage to get for kids to be selected into the top 3 classes?

Which level?
The \"position\" in standard ie whole level matters; 1st 40 or so will go to the top class, 2nd group of 40 or so will be in 2nd best class etc.
You may want to find out your kid's position in standard privately from the form teacher after the results are available. This info is not available in the report book. By knowing this position, you can roughly tell which class he/she will be going next year.

I am considering whether to let my boy to join the CCA next year when he’s in P2.

Not heavier but subject wise is definitely more challenging, especially maths and Chinese. They do a lot oh heuristic n challenge problems for maths n for Chinese required to write a short compo n EL got compo also.

When my dd was p2, the 1st to 3rd or 4th in her class went to the top class, the 5th to 8th went to 2nd and 9th to 12th or 13th went to the 3rd best class.
