That sounds a little unfair to the kids who wanted NJC as first choice but tried out another school just in case. But I suppose the message is if you're not serious about the school don't try out.
Yes it'll be interesting to see how this will impact COP.

Better give your feedback now then. This is the way NJC has conducted their DSA in the past few years. The admin needs time to get their act together and 2013 is soon!

Just curious, how did NJC known which kid has CO already? I understand from the teachers in DS2's school that even MOE does not know (initially) who is given CO. In fact, the teachers in DS2's school needs to check with each child in the GEP if they received CO just before PSLE, so that they can report to GE branch at MOE.
