Hi ladies,

Nov 11 is the day of p1 orientation right ? That means my daughter should be getting her book list earliest next week. Popular has already allocated a section to sell textbooks. I can decide whether to get from popular or vendor for next year. Will have to see if popular carries all the text first…can enjoy 5% discount.

Thanks Janet! Yah thinking of getting the textbooks in popular too as it has discount and thinking of asking girl to choose her pencil case n purse there too… only thing is that still hv to go sch bookshop to buy catechism book n sch exercise books

Nah...for P1, it's troublesome to get from Popular bcos you need to get exercise books and pinafore/PE attire. So might as well get all from one place. Very convenient. I may get from school bcos it's easier to tick the books and pay online, only good thing is 5% from Popular.

Oic… Yah huh the exercise books must hv school crest… Can I check if it’s ok if the sch sch has tag on it? I just bought a pair of white shoes frm Bata which the sales person insisted can… So scared if my girl wears it to sch the prefect will tell her no…

Yes, the exercise books should have school crest. Don't worry about shoes. As long as its white, it is ok. My daughter's white shoes are also bubblegummers.

I've asked hubby. He said to order and buy from school vendor...sure to have if order early. Troublesome to go popular for that 5%.

Hi P1-to-be mummies,

CHIJ TP emphasizes on a holistic education.
My daughter has Dance performance this Fri...fun fair as well. Excursion to CHIJ OLQP yesterday. Rehearsal today. Personally I find school has lots of activities for the girls. There are 2 Parent-Teacher meetings in a year as compared to most schools with just 1.

Used pink highlighter for days she no school or early dismissal...blue for my son or else I will be blur :faint:

I used two calendars, one for DS and one DD, otherwise, too many events to jot down in 1 calendar.

The 2nd PTM is optional…so will not go for this one
