      Good afternoon all,

I think there are some visit to the school lib, so will let her bring the card, though I’m afraid that she will lost the card and bks but will treat it as building responsibility.

I will be taking the passport photo at home, there’s a school form from the orientation package that require a photo.

Even if the school does not require one for profile purpose, you will still need to give them at least one for the student card right?

Think the schools will arrange for photo-taking for making of student pass as a level. 😉

Only for the purpose of making student pass cos that one is done as a level and the pupils need to be in their school uniforms. But no harm having some photos on hand for other purposes.

I was looking through the letters to parents on DD1’s school website. The photo-taking session was done in mid-Jan for this year’s P1.

                    SAHM_Tan,

Amazing that Eng enrichment centre prepares Show & Tell for the kids. Which centre is it? Though preparing Show & Tell with kids can take quite an effort, it can be quite rewarding.

One colleague who believes in outsourcing everything, found a Chinese enrichment centre at Beauty World who prepared Chinese Show & Tell for kids.

It's not an enrichment centre, it a tuition centre set up by an ex-teacher. If you are interested I can pm you.

I want DD1 to be more independent for the show and tell. I just want the teacher to guide her on what to do and the things to take note of. If I were to take over, I would literally take over and I do not want that. I want her to learn some skills in the process of preparing for the show and tell. I know that in school, it's probably difficult for the FT to guide each child and rehearse with them. My aim is not to attain full marks, which according to a mummy is attainable, but that she must learn the skills and competencies that show and tell is supposed to teach.

I do other things at home with her which has no short term KPIs. 😉
