I am considering whether to let my boy to join the CCA next year when he's in P2. -

That is correct. A PRC mom in my block told her daughter that she must be the top 8 in her class ( in P2)... and in P3, she got into the 3rd class... but I tell my son, any classes are good in Rulang. The 1st 3 classes are accelerated learning...Lock:

When my dd was p2, the 1st to 3rd or 4th in her class went to the top class, the 5th to 8th went to 2nd and 9th to 12th or 13th went to the 3rd best class. -
Whether accelerated learning in the top 3 classes, I am unsure of. However, I admit that the kids in these classes seem to be given more chances to gain different exposures and I dislike it. But look, isnt elsewhere the same too and who am I to be unhappy with?
The E2K prog seems to give priority to kids in these 3 classes.
More kids taking higher MT in these 3 classes.

My girl uses My Pals are Here Science which can be purchased from Popular. We always buy from the school to avoid any unnecessary troubles.
Please wait for the booklist to be given before buying. -

The booklist is usually given on the last few days of school. You can simply place your order and leave it to the school bookshop. If you are \"urgent\", you can either go to Popular to buy (and buy the necessary exercise books later from the school) or Pacific Bookstore (located somewhere in Bukit Batok).
You may even want to email to Science HOD to ask what are the topics to be taught in p3. The Science textbooks bought at this time will be of lower science ie topics for both p3 and p4. -
