      C*** ? :? cake?

      Ummmm...

Tankee is wondering what you meant by \"C***\", so he guess that it's Cake, since it starts with \"C\" and it has 4 letters. :rotflmao:

I would feed DS Lego addiction if he develops one. It is better then Bey Blades or electronic games. DS will try out each model according to the manual, then dismantle and mix and match to build his own creation. So we basically have a whole box of all the Legos and a folder of all the manuals.

actually, if your son is interested in Lego, you can introduced him to the next step, Lego Mindstorm NXT. This is where you build a robot, or a car or any contraption with motors and sensors and program it to move according to your design. It teaches the kids the fundamentals of software programming in an easy to learn graphical manner. Children will find it much more satisfying to build a contraption that moves and respond to your commands.

If your child is not into programming robots, you can also introduce him to Lego Technics. The Lego Technics range of toys are realistic models based on actual real life vehicles (cars, trucks, construction vehicles, etc..). The advantage of a realistic model is that you get to learn about the mechanics of how gears interacts and how it translate motion from one plane to another.

There are also pneumatic parts in the Technics range. Compressed air is used in pneumatic cylinders to drive pistons. This will be a very good start to educate children in mechanical engineering concepts. Pneumatics pistons are used in SBS buses to open and close the doors.

                Hi cinman!
Where can I buy Lego Mindstorm NXT? Is that available at Toystarus?.Thanks.

Cannot be...the son needs to consider and I don't think Chenonceau is one who uses the cane on her children, at least not for academic stuff.

CAMP? Maybe a \"drill\" camp to eliminate the carelessness? :?
