That S&T section is a killer...one wrong spelling or tense, whole thing is WRONG.

The last set of Stellar worksheets she brought home today includes punctuation as well. HELP.

Doing assesments one time without revision will not help. so but ask them by mouth again and again will help them remember. we practice this method for vocab as well.
my dd's school paper contains only 2 Qs from this section and 3 Qs from re-arranging the words to sentence,all 5 Qs will tested for editing,punctuation as well.she also have grammar note book(school) where I saw some connectors they have used in class. hope it helps :scratchhead:

Yup...S&T must revise often. My daughter hate the section on rearranging to form sentence. So I just ask her to number instead of writing out. I've taken out all the P1 assessment and put them on my table. Planning for her to do something from next week.

Now have to go back to ask if I can change and top up for something else. Prob getting the Elite English. Saw several 'diagnostic tests' in content page...is it for CA1/SA ? Could you kindly advise ? Thanks.

Janet, I just used that as all in one revision book. It didn’t state that ca/sa. but goes as diagnostic test 1,2,3 then !quater examination paper. then D 4,5,6 again mid yr exam paper like that. but there are icon for dictunary. before I start I ask het to look for those words and tell the meaning…I only got this book somewhere after Aug. but good book for all in one exam format revision.

I got this title...find that it consists of more connectors. Conquer range of S&T not very comprehensive and too basic...and it's frustrating when you need to revise and those are not included. Great, thanks for the advice. I'll go back later to top up for the Elite English then. Perhaps for P2 and P6.
