      beanstalk:
The place was mad! Worse than Orchard Road on a weekend.

I felt that at the games, they were too generous with each turn (gave too much time to each person), and so the queues snaked out.

It was fun overall, thanks to the teachers, volunteers and pupils involved. Hope they raised a good amount.
The idea of having such a big scale fun fair is unique for a primary school. Even the principal herself is involved...something I couldn't believe.

I had a headache last night because of the huge crowd at the SCHOOL !!!
All of us knocked out from fatigue after our shower.

Actually everything abt the school seems gd but the website can be further improved.

Info is rarely updated and news not current.

                  HI Kaylasmum,
You can get the shoes (2 pairs should be sufficient) & school bag in Dec...usually that's when you see those 'back to school' promos.

For pinafores/blouse, I bought 3 each. Actually 2 of each is sufficient...even if change pinafore twice a week.

PE tops for P1/2 is sleeveless. There is PE/gym twice a week.

Yah we're really looking forward to it!! I've bought the bubblegummer shoes frm Bata which I'll be using for her graduation concert as well. As I intend to buy another pair when it's closer to their sales period in dec (acc to sales staff) therefore the size which I bought now is just a little bigger.

As for pinafore n shirts im thinking o getting 3 sets each as I'm thinking I'll ask her to keep a spare set in her locker in case she needs it??

My to buy list is now:
                    - books
                    - sch u
                    - singlets (the uniform is q thin and I think w singlet inside is better)
                    - pencil case
                    - purse (any recommendations?)

Anything else? Oh n yah must get ready all the necessary documents n letters to bring on orientation!!
                    - socks

Yes, I used the white bubblegummer from K2 concert too.

Don't get singlets as the pinafore is thick...so it will be hot esp in Apr/May.

For pencil case, do get those which are longer or the lead of new pencils will break when you put inside.
You can get those simple zip type of purse from Daiso...not too big or thick as it will weigh down the already heavy pinafore.

Thanks Janet for the info!! Maybe a jacket will be better than? But worried that it will make the bag heavy
