PSLE FOundation papers exchange

I realise there are no other school test papers for foundation students that i can buy or download…


If there are, can someone pls advise the link or the address of the store…

If not, can i suggest that we, parents, get together to exchange papers…I do not need top school papers…all i need is some other school foundation exam papers for my son to get enough test paper practice for his coming psle…

I hope to get as many papers as possible…would anyone who have such papers scan them for me…i’ll exchange my son’s papers…

If i can get more than 7, i’ll set up a online platform too so parents like us, who are in the minority, can benefit…I believe it’ll help many…

Pls help…i’m kinda desperate…tkx

I think that the past PSLE papers can get from popular. I also know that in Bukit Panjang Plaza, foundation top schools papers are sold near Macdonalds. Hope it helps & good luck to ur child for PSLE!

Tried to talk to yr son’s school teachers to find out more. Most schs (if not wrong) put experienced teachers to teach the students doing foundation subjects.

DS1 will be in P6(doing foundation level) next year, please pm me to share/exchange school exam papers.

hi there, my son's teacher has just confirmed that he'll be in foundation level next year. you are right - they are putting more experienced teachers to teach. perhaps you can email me at [email protected] so that we can share more and maybe exchange school exam papers in future. i'm so worried about next year's PSLE that i'm currently looking thru the website for a maths specialist. reason becos i've tried many centres and even home tuition but he scores very badly in maths. hope to receive your email. -yati-

I wonder you can opt out if one is being asked to go to foundation?If one takes up a foundation subject,he’ll go to NA,right?My friend is concern of her son too.

From what I understand from my nephew's school, the school will only ask the student to do the subject in foundation level if the student has been scoring badly (<20) on the subject since P4.

Even if the kid opt out of foundation and does the subject in standard level, there is still a chance for him to go NA or NT if the kid did not do well in PSLE.

If the kid is posted to NA in Sec 1 but did well in Sec 1, he/she can still goes to Express in Sec 2. Similiarily a student in Express stream who cannot cope with the curriculum can still end up in Sec 2 NA.

Not much info was given by MOE on how students fare when they do one subject in foundation level and 3 other subjects in standard level or other combinations. There is no indication whether these students can get into Express or can only go to NA / NT. You may want to check with your child's school.

If your child really cannot cope with the fast pace curriculum in standard level, I think it is best to let him/her study at a pace suitable for him/her. Otherwise the kid will lose interest in study and that is even worst. This is what I plan to let my nephew do if the school ask him to do the subject(s) in the foundation level. His results since P4 really \"cannot make it\" despite tutions and extra-lessons from the school. :sad:

At end of P4, school will recommend subjects combination based on pupils' results. Parents can choose subjects combination.

But end of P5, pupils have to take the subjects combination decided by school (and not parents).
