Yah...i agree to get to the top 3 in the best class is tough. I am not expecting he get the top few position, i just hope he can maintain in the best class. Tis guy in his class despite being not very well during the maths exam day, can get full marks for his maths MCQ section.

U mean for the cloze passage vocab, there is no helping words? Students gotta think of a suitable words to fill in the blanks?

Yes, so if your voice of words are limited, will have difficulties in answering. Plus, if you dont know the topic of the cloze passage, may also face the same problem.

oops, not sure leh cos i dun read newspapers..
the paper not returned to him yet. But he told it is abt \"tailor\" and he doesnt noe anything abt tailor.
Remb he said there is a blank to fill in for this...
....is an blank, ....tailor.
So, he just guess the answer as \"old\" cos of the word \"an\". And his guess is correct.
I taught him to tackle cloze passage is to look for clues if he doesnt really noe wat words to use.

BTW, there would be 2 top classes in P3 meaning 3M & 3A2? So each class have max 30 students? Wonder how would the top classes & the non top classes teaching pace?

Don't take it too hard. Perhaps the results from the rest of the year will help to pull his grades up.

DS is running a fever :sick: and on medical leave hence not able to attend the CCA Fair & Talent Indentification...sigh!!! I wonder if anyone can share more information :?:
