Hi northernstar,i actually find it adorable when i put my baby down on the bed and he cries n when i pick him up he falls asleep instantly in my arms.guess i m enjoying it coz they wont be so needy as they grow older.
When my baby was 2mths,he liked to sleep on his belly.think you can try that but make sure her nose is not covered n monitor her.u can ask ur pd coz i think boys like that position.
I think discharge is normal but if in doubt juz call the hospital or pd to ask. -

Hi Mummies…
I’m new here… in fact very new to forum… staying in Bukit Batok.
My mum is looking after my girl together with me in the daytime at Jurong East while I do part-time property. I’m waiting to select Casa Clementi SBF in Jan’12.
Gave birth to my first one… 3Mar’11. She’s now 8mths and yes… babies are sooo adorable!
Anyone attended any enrichment classes for those below 12mths? Not really that kiasu but just thought that it might spice up both our lives abit…
Also in a dilemma whether to select a childcare near to Clementi my future home, or near to my parents’ place at JE… -

Hi northernstar,
My DS2, 5 months, has been vomitting too. At least once a day. Sometimes there are brownish stains. Sometimes the vomit is watery. The PD said it could be reflux problem. As long as the baby is happy and developing well, there is nothing to worry about.
But I am still concerned. Will monitor him for a mth or so and see how … -
Northern star
My DD2 seems to be born with phlegm stuck in her throat as she was always very noisy in her sleep like an old man. It went away when she was 2+ months but recently caught a cold and had phlegm again. PD gave saltwater nose spray to clear it but think she still has it. Was on milk strike since she gotten the cold which could be due to phlegm stuck in throat. Seems better today so am keeping fingers crossed. I get very worried when she doesn’t drink milk even though she’s chubby. -

maybe u try to give her lesser milk to see whether she will drink. is her phlegm thick and alot?
how chubby is ur DD? just curious hee... the doctor said mine looks like 4 mths when she is juz 2 mths now -
Hi Northernstar
I diluted the milk and she is drinking better now. The silver lining is that she now sleeps through the night 12h without feeding. Can't see any phlegm. Just noisy breathing. Anyway will ask PD when she go for 4 mth jab next week.
DD2 weighed 3.45 kg at birth and 6.6kg at 3 mths. Got chubby cheeks like her dad. DD1 was even heavier but luckily now tall and slim -

DS2 is on breast milk.
Sometimes, he gags and when he vomits, its whitish watery stuff that comes out.
Other times, his vomit is also thick and white. Seems that he does vomit quite a bit of the milk. Usually once a day. Sometimes throughout the day, he will spit out a bit of thick whitish looking stuff.
But on the whole, he is a happy baby, playful and seems to be developing well.
I don't recall my DS1 going through this, that's why am a bit concerned.
I will be monitoring him for the next week or so. Will also start him on solids soon, so will see how it goes.
