Did any of your kid inform you about the CCA selection yesterday? They went thru' some kind of selection tests and sort of will be 'recommended' for certain CCA if the teacher-in-charge finds the potential in some of them.

If my dd interpreted correctly, it seems that the students do not choose the CCA out of their own interest but rather the teacher finds them suitable or not, as the whole lot of them will dance together, for e.g and the teacher watch & choose :scratchhead:

Hmm, the kids do have a say which one to choose lah…My dd ended up putting her first choice as one of the ‘not recommended’ one…hee. Think she is going to be disappointed lor.

My son has two left feet ...so if he were to dance....very likely he will be HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
But seems like DS miss out a lot as he was not in school yesterday...sigh

Well, my dd wants to join table tennis but was not selected, instead, she was chosen for Indian dance!! Hahaha, I teased her that she might look nice in Indian costume 😆

Anyway, she still go ahead with her choice so I leave it to her but told her to accept the outcome as I believe the teachers-in-charge will give priority to those 'recommended' ones. 😉

You may want to talk to yr ds where his interests lie and decide from there.

Blue-march, has your girl indicated her CCA choices already? My boy told me they would only receive the form today. :scratchhead:

Yap, have no idea about her oral & compo as well, only informed of the results for paper 2 and LC. Chinese oral results also 🤷

I only know my girl's english compo results. Have no idea how she fared for oral, LC.

Can anyone tell me the SA2 marks portion is 70% or 25%?

If 70% then the overall score would be quite bad.

Just hope our DS & DD have this type of setbacks so as to spur them better in P3 & more years ahead… It is better to have some of this setbacks 1 or 2 so rather than they had it at PSLE & that would be a major impact.
