        Hi ladies,

This is the last week of school :rahrah: my daughter is at home today and tomorrow as well. Fri is last day of school and orientation for new p1s.
Remember to have our dinner first...it is usually lengthy.

I thought higher chinese is only offered at P3 (correct me if I am wrong) and via selection. If yr kids are selected, u will receive a letter from the sch to remind you to get the correct textbooks for 2012.

Believe they give you a letter at the parent teacher meet if your child is recommended for HMT.

For SAP schools, all P1s have to take HCL until P4. Then depending on results, the teacher will recommend if the child can continue or drop for standard Chinese. Usually the grade would have to be 85% to continue HCL at P5.
