Though i am a student, i think sec schs still won't allow your child into the school. Only Primary schools i think....
But it depends how is your child scoring. If score is okay, guess you won't donate to the school for admission, right?

My friend (FT)'s daughter got in one of the neighborhood schools without donation, just through MOE examination (twice per year)
I think, the topic of donation is excluded in MOE chapter.Should be careful.

You can read the following link. The entrance of secondary exam has just finished (13/10/11). The coming exam will be February 2012.

Yah I also thot only Pri Schs accept but just check to see if I’m wrong…

Does your child have any special talent that the school wants to offer?

My mum's friend's son missed by a little. But I understand that he play certain instrument and he was accepted by the school almost immediately. However he must stay in that cca for the remaining 4 hours.

I took TKGS as the first choice and i am over 4 points from it's COP 2010.

Is there 100% chance that i could enter?
I was wondering TKSS but i am not sure if that's a good schol with good facilities. There were no open house at all this year. Wonder some students/parents could give some comments on this school.

They had open-house on 19/10/11 and 26/11/11.

The school looks homely and girls look decent. Its academic 'O’level results is outstanding among band 2 schools.

Total : 343 students who sat for 'O’levels in 2010

328 students got into JC
13 went to Poly
2 - disqualified

11 students - 9As
44 students - 8As
100 students - 7As
