Anyone child is with Bedok. I saw their facebook and having an open house thing. Anyone going? Need to call for appointment or anything. I worried once call, they will ask none stop. Any mommy can share. Thank you!

We are not allowed to drive in as that car park belongs to the residents. There is a barrier. However, we can park along that barrier provided it is not obstructing traffic especially bus.

For my K2, we usually go in pairs. In case the traffic is bad especially with Andrew Er students as well. My dh will drop us and I will bring her in.

For the older kids, weekdays is not so bad so we don't have that problem. The other alternative is to park at the parallel parking lots and walk the kids to the class.

Can I chk with you what constitutes foundation class?

My 4.5yr old boy (next year K1) just went for assessment. He knows all the first sounds. Can recognize certain words (they were taught to recognize words instead of just plain old phoenics). Can do abit of last sound. Middle sound got lost cos don’t understand what the tester was testing him.

He got put to Foundation class - which honestly I was surprised cos I don’t believe he is THAT bad.

Is it like you have to go thru their system or their direct competitor system (I can read) to progress?

I was surprised by them putting my boy to Foundation cos in Julia Gabriel N2 ‘I love reading’ class, his teacher did tell me that he is one of the more advanced few. In his cc, his teacher tells me the same too!!
