Is your math teacher really telling the truth? If so then maybe the child didn’t know how to do any of the qns so he or she just anyhow do, thats why got zero. But still very unlikely…

jtoh:
just wondering :scratchhead:

If my ds t-score is 260-270 should I appeal to RI or just submit to s1 posting exercise ? Will I increase his chance if I appeal ? Any advice ?

I take it that your son is eligible for the S1 Central Posting Exercise and that he didn't exercise any DSA COs/WLs? In that case just submit using the S1 Central Posting. What's there to appeal if you haven't submitted yet? Unless you're saying your son was rejected during the DSA exercise. In any case, going by past trends, scoring mid-260s should get you safely into RI during the central posting exercise. If there are freakish results and the COP for RI goes up, you can appeal then.

Dear jtoh
Is thr a way to know the cop for this yr :? I thot usually must wait until next yr then we know the cop ???
You won't know this year's COP before school posting day. Once the posting results are out, you can call the school to find out. But based on past trends, RI's COP has hovered around 260+/- so if you score in mid-260s chances of getting into RI are very very safe.

My child recently got injured in school. Some schoolmates were fooling around, and one of them fell on my child.

My child received serious injuries to the face and required stitches.
Medical bills amounted to roughly S$2,000.
Any advice on how i should handle this situation(to the school and the parents of the other child)?
Thanks

Yes, she is a trustworrthy and responsible math teacher. She won't lie especially when related with PSLE stuffs. And she said it with a very serious tone... how could she lie? And why would she lie that? 😓
But even she lie, there's some poor students will scored like that or 20-40 marks.

Where got anyhow do one?! I wished i can anyhow do but because i am afraid of the ji dan... Maybe she/he thought like me, the question for the 8 triangles and square i thought i am alsolutely BINGO, i wrote 16 but pian pian it's 17cm.... :stompfeet: :stompfeet: :stompfeet:

The standard deviation for Maths is always very great. What I heard is there are quite a number of students scoring full marks too.

Gods gave them a \"Gifted Maths Brain\" and we can't blame them. 🙏

A few yrs ago , my ds accidentally hurt a boy in his schoo and the boy injuried badly . I insisted to pay for the medical bills but the boy's parent refused to accept it.she told me that she will claim from the school insurance .

Actually there are still students getting 十多分 for prelimin... very weak student can only concernate on paper 1 to score.. paper 2 usually cannot make it or hoping for method marks only... so if the child really get zero I guess he/she already did his/her best... tried to write something but don't know right wrong...cos he/she did not want to leave blank....
He already do his best, struggling very badly.... probably the more he practise before his exam...the more confuse he is plus if the school did not cover much or prepare of them well...guess he was blank when he receive the math paper during the exam...it's very pitiful...
