I'm more curious than kiasu ... any parent knows why is it that the school can close 1 week earlier than other schools?


And yes, DD is in P2. IJ has been wonderful for her the last 2 years!

Full schools (MGS, CHIJ St Nick's, Cat High etc) actually close their primary section even earlier (2/3 weeks earlier than most schools). The reason being that the secondary section needs quiet for the approaching O levels.

IJ TP is not a full school (different principals) but the secondary and primary buildings are in such close proximity, they take each other's needs into consideration.

Yes!! Can’t wait for the girls meet up too! Anyone knows if we need to bring north cert tomorrow? I’m just thinking of bringing the forms given ie child’s particulars from, travel declaration, catering form… Anything else?
