Somehow the education system contradict themselves… How not to compare among peers when the T score use this for calculation… Y tell parents all school is equally good wor??

Usually for more \"famous\" most parents will prepare their kids very well. There is still some time before school starts, you do have time to work on areas that you think can be beefed up.

I spoke to an ex-teacher and she shared that P1 syllabus is meant to enable kids with no pre-school education to catch up. The \"real\" thing starts in P2. So in a way, you still have a year.

But is there really cause for concern? Maybe your son is on par. May I know does he attend kindy or CC?

He is in PAP. He is well prepared. He started p1 assessment books in June this year. But like u said, in these famous schs, parents will usually hv prepared their kids extremely well.

Hope my DS can cope :xedfingers:
