          Need some advice :

Surfed gmarket (saw the 4 main vendors : Smart Green Style, 99mile, Star shop, Best GMall) but not quite sure which to order from.

If i were to order the Ocher deeper pan (7.5cm ht),

          1. does the package include any extra sealer(s)? If yes, how many are there?

          2. Is it necessary to buy extra sealers (for future use)?

          3. What is the average life span of each sealer?

          4. At this present moment, which vendor has the best offer?
Here is the answer to your questions.
          1) Most vendors give extra sealers, mostly 2 more and some, extra gift like socks etc. Smart Green Style only have 1 extra sealer, but they provide standard pan with a hook hole in handle, the rest are all without hook hole in handle

          2) It is better to buy extra sealer as they do wear and tear (if your pan start leaking from side, it is time to change sealers. If you order extra sealer with the vendor now you pay lesser for the delivery

          3) Depending your usage, your sealer may last 6 to 12 months.

          4) At present, i will choose http://list.gmarket.com.sg/g/404162282/200003223 for best bargain, http://tinyurl.com/hcpdseller is the cheapest and if you want a chinese manual and latest pan look for http://tinyurl.com/happycallsgs

You can avoid xxmiles, the reputation is bad. http://tinyurl.com/hcpstar carries the full red range of HCP and Gmall is a bit expensive than others.

Also for other mums, if you experience a bad order, you need to ship back the pan before they will exchange, this sound odd but this is the norm. For my spree, i work with with my vendor for exchange. Already stocking a few set in case of exchange.

Dasalo: my pan weighs 1.632kg and I was expecting 1.9kg! I was hoping more buyers of the ocher pan can weigh their pan and give feedback.

superbmothers: which seller did you buy your ocher from? šŸ™‚ patiently waiting for the weight of your ocher pan.

Actually mine was hovering between 1.6 and 1.7kg. My scale is quite difficult to place object as it hasn't a flat surface.

                    dasalo:

I bought the Ocher deeper pan and I do \"Age-dashi Tofu\" - pan fry tofu dusts with potato starch. Add soup stock (made with soy sauce, mirin, bonito stock and water) over the fried tofu, top with spring onion. You need a little oil for that tofu to taste better.

For green Veg, I usually just add alittle water, enough to cover the veg, salt and sugar. Bring to a boil and add the veg, cover the pan for 5 mins and that's it.
Pour either soy sauce (premium kind) or oyster sauce, sesame oil and top with fried dry onions (bawang goreng).
Age-dashi tofu sounds interesting. Will try that. Thanks!

                    How's your hurom? šŸ˜‰

OT - Hurom is good if you like thick juice with pulp. It is not clear like the usual centrifugal high speed juicer. Still getting used to it. I'm currently facing an issue of stuck dreg problem. Maybe I added too much, too fast that's why.

You can fry pancake or hotcakes with HCP. It cooks fast. Sorry, too lazy to take pics and post, been busy lately.
