I stayed at Metropark Kowloon in June. Overall not too bad. The good thing is, the hotel has a free shuttle service from the hotel to TST station (near Peninsula hotel). It makes a short stop at Mongkok on the way to TST but doesn’t stop at Mongkok in the return trip. So when you want to return to the hotel, don’t try taking a train to Mongkok station and walk back to the hotel coz it’s quite far. Instead, stop at TST station then use the shuttle bus from outside Peninsula hotel.

Why everyone likes wife biscuit :?

I don't find them that nice and the quality of these biscuits are quite inconsistent.

reasonably good and cheap one at Tiong Bahru, opp mrt station, 良辰美点

          thanks.
actually, HK many places have branded .. opposire kowloon hotel is channel.. along the tsim sha sui stree can find coach, long champ.. blahh.. so no need purposely go to one place.. but price wise i din check as i dun even have time for shopping 😛

Yup, I normally stay at TST and am familiar with the shops there, They dont hv GST 7 p/c so the branded can come to 10 to 20 p/c cheaper than in spore depending on the brand and exchage rate.
Citigate sells outruns n past season goods at affordable prices but got to check on the workmanship for some brands.

really genuine stuff or not ? genuine stuff normally no problem with quality, and some even carry lifetime warranty
Its genuine alright but I wouldnt go all the way there frm TST cos dont like the distance besides, the things I want to buy are at TST... can drop the purchases off at the hotel and have tea and move on again free hand.
I prefer buying my cosmetics there cos its a lot more cheaper than here, I think the cosmetics at the duty free in spore are not all that cheap in comparison to the HK duty free too.

I will be staying within walking distance from Yau Ma Tei station. Already planned to walk \"up and down\" Nathan Road, the moment I unload my luggage !

Don't 4get to venture into Granville Rd. Lots of factory outlets but some don't hv changing room. I saw pple bringing measuring tapes & their own clothes to compare against the Old Navy etc. :salute:
Some shops hv a small store front but spiral upwards onto 2nd-5th levels so lots of exercising! I love the shoes shops there, unique & cheap.

              More shopping ideas  :

I got no issues with the quality of the stuff at Citygate. All genuine. They are not defective items. The items belong to past seasons. For Coach, not as cheap as US factory outlets. Kate Spade, don't bother. Quite cheap for Giordano but got to buy in bulk as in at least 4 - 5pcs. As in my earlier post, bring a small trolley bag to pack in your shopping if you need to take MTR back to TST area.

Is the only place to get branded stuff at Citygate? I remember that I went to a building with lots of shops that sell branded at a discount. Cun remember where...

been there every month, no choice, for work, it is okay, no worry, in any case it is good habit to keep the sars prevention procedures, hand washing etc
