I have son in Pri 5. Daughter going in 2010. My son’s homework is a killer. I am not up to it so i have engaged every possible tuition for him.

Hi yendirna... yes... the amount of homework they bring back home can be really depressing. Do your tutors help with the homework, or do they issue their own homework on top of what the schools offer?

Hi, my son is in pri 3 this year. Not too many homework yet.....maybe not yet....

I am contemplating enrolling my son in yr 2012. Wonder how the school’s environment is like.


Are the teachers generally caring and encouraging?

How is the principal’s attitude towards the overall goal of the school? Academically based or more on developing all rounded individual?

By the way, wonder if all primary schools will have a change of principal every 5 yrs?

Pei chun is academically driven based on my son’s amt of school work. Their moral education is also very strong. Most students are well behaved.

DS1 successfully got a place in PC for next yr

I’m actually quite worried on its high standard of Mandarin.
While doing PV last year in one of its Orientation Day, the Principal actually gives speech in Chinese. oh no…
