My son is in P1 this year.
He enjoys going to school. They were given reasonable amount of homework to do everyday. At times I prepared some worksheets for him but most of the time I was not able to let him do because he has his own sets of school homework.
I do not want to overload him, going to school is about enjoy learning. And is not to stress them to win others. As long as he is able to show he can understand and apply what he has learned. -

Hi all,
My son is going to be in P1 Adventurer too next year. I have also joind the Parent Support Group. I understand this group is new which will only start next yr, however I read some parents are already helping out the school.
May I know what do you normally help out with? I would love to get myself involved with the school and friends with other mums but I am a working mum, so am worried if I cannot be there to help out too often. -

Yes, some of us started helping out since last year when the school was still new. We helped out during some celebration, like racial harmony day, international friendship day, children day, teachers day, school open house, national day and many more. It actually quite fun and I enjoyed myself most of the time. No worry abt being not able to help out too often, if u wan to meet up with other parent, just try to come for some event which the school organize and welcome parent to join in the fun. There u will be able to catch up with some parents. :rahrah:Hi all,
