Yes..another subject and another tuition for it...haiz..

DD is actually pretty excited to do science next year. Think the excitement might just die down when she realise that it is not all hands on experiment. hehehe.


Why think of tuition even before they start the subject? For all you know the kid may cope well enough to not need additional help.

My DS's teacher has been talking to her class about what to expect for science next year and so far so good.. ..

Hopefully can do without tuition if he copes well..

My dd need discipline and so far only tuition able to help her to cope better, and she also v keen on science at this moment, even wanted to sign up for the Little Young scientist camp (4 hrs) on the 1st of Dec.

ds1 is also looking forward to having science lessons. to him, science is all about fun and experimenting.


i think the teacher would be instrumental in keeping the interest in science alive for the kids, so let's pray and hope they get great teachers to ignite the flame in them or further boost their interest in it!

science used to be my favourite subject in school too. do you all remember the science center badges the teachers ask us to try to earn? we used to have a lot of fun getting the stars required for the badge too. do they still have this sorta thing?

My daughter was doing something like that about 4-5 years ago. Think you can get the cards from Science Centre shop. There are different topics on different cards, I think. Agree it is good fun.

Enrichment and tuition stuff is something I know close to nothing about, so I probably can't comment much.
