You most welcome - usually Science T will give to the students the list on the various topics to be covered in P3. For DD1's case, I realised that she does not have the theme \"Systems\" & \"Energy\" in her Book list for P3 and got the advice from school bookshop that both the 2 topics are covered in P4 for DD1's school ๐Ÿ˜„

:celebrate: Great! So you just need to wait for next year for your DD's Science T to give the list for topics to be covered in P3! ๐Ÿ•บ ๐Ÿ•บ

              Hi all,

I am new here and would like to seek advise on what does it mean by lower/upper block for P3 science book?

Next yr my boy will be in P3, and really donโ€™t know which assessment books are relevant. Hope that can get some recommendation from parents here.

              Many thanks

                  Hi allcc,
Don't mind me saying this. Get both. You will definitely be able to finish Science assessment titles...bcos at every CA or SA, everything will be tested, right up till P6.

                    HI plum cake,
BE KS...get all 5 topics this year. Solve your headache where Science is concerned.

                      Hi angehock,
Lower Block is for P3 and P4.
Upper Block is for P5 and P6.

Regarding assessment books, would you like to refer to P1 of this thread ? There are several recommendations there. Hope this helps and don't faint ๐Ÿ˜‰ when you see the titles.

Science at P3 will be a new thing for the child. It can be interesting, but yet the child cannot take the guide/reference as a story book. There are 2 sections - MCQ and OE (open-ended).
