4D is second best class. that means position 45 to 88 in school.

Thanks for the fast reply Twa Tau. If my Daughter is in 3C will also be the 2nd best as well. Is that right? Its a very confusing streaming system to me.

According to DD, next year P4, 4C will be best, 4D second best and 4E third. The rest od classes are all mixed. RVPS is doing this to make it less confusing. But I am not sure whether it wil be the same for all level.

Thanks very much for the reply Twa Tau

Can anyone confirm the class arrangement for P3 next year as in 3A (best class) followed by 3B (2nd best), 3C…in that sequence?
Going by TwaTau’s reply, P4 seems to have different arrangement. -
Is River Valley Primary a top school?
Heard that if a student fails subjects even at borderline, the student is recommend to go counselling and go for psychological, aptitude assessments conducted by professional counsellors, and have to pay expensively for it.
How true? -
River Valley is not the top school but its PSLE results had been consistently good.
I think it depends on the parents if they want to let the child go for psychological assessment for any learning difficulties. I don’t think its compulsory. -

Next yr, top 3 classes are Confidence, Diligence and Endurance. The rest are mixed ability classes.Can anyone confirm the class arrangement for P3 next year as in 3A (best class) followed by 3B (2nd best), 3C..in that sequence?
Going by TwaTau's reply, P4 seems to have different arrangement. -
In Y2011 P3, the class are listed accordingly - you can refer to the RVPS website and check out the P3 Form Teachers link.
A = P3 Diligence
B = P3 Endurance
C = P3 Friendship
I am unsure if the same can be said for Y2012.
Check it out.
