Actually for this age group, it's not just motivation. It's how the teacher is experienced with the young ones to teach it in an interesting way (toys, games, analogies), break down tasks. My youngest started piano at 35mths and violin shortly after. And most importantly, the parental support in daily practices.

If d teacher is experienced n make d lessons interesting for d children, they will enjoy & motivated to continue learning.

Out of my extremely packed schedule giving lectures, providing private teaching, managing my home together with my music & art school, I happened to bump into this site. But don't worry, I won't frequent here because of time.

She had obtained ABRSM Grade 8 this year and now pursuing her diploma and the examination will be next year April 11
