AhBa0 mentioned that the stock will come next week. In my opinion, it is better for you to come next weekend. So you don't need to go to Toa Patoh 2 times.
If you come this weekend & the stock hasn't come, they will just take your order & ask you to collect the uniform once their stocks are arrived.

I've considered for so long...duno if i shud get spi for dd.shez petite n bag alone is 900+ grams...will normal, lighter bags work as well?botakgundul:
$40 off for selected SPI models & 15% disc for new arrival bags until this coming Sunday.
@KinderFun.
Is e discount worth or will have more discount at e end of sale period?
According to my friend, her son uses SPI bag for more than 2 years & it's still in good condition. Only the color has changed (faded away). A lot of people said that Ergonomic bag is good & won't changed their back posture. Lots of ergonomic bag are available outside such as Deuter, Dr Kong etc. It depends on your preference.
If you intend to buy SPI, $40 off is worth. However, it is only for selected/last year model. I believe they intend to clear their stocks. But if you intend to buy new arrival bag, you can wait for OG sale. Normally they will have 20% for all SPI bags according to my resource.
Happy shopping! :rahrah: -
Yeah think i’d bring dd to try n buy straight away.

I dun mind buying from dangdang. By e way,im gg shenzhen to see if i can get chinese books, any idea if dangdang or taobao has physical shop there? Or any bookstores that u all know of?
Hi,
Just did a check on taobao, there are online shops selling the yanghongying series.
I'm under the impression that dangdang is an online bookstore and taobao is basically a portal, perhaps only selective sellers in there do have a physical shop, but we don't know which are and which are not.
Having said that, I'm sure there are bookshops in Shenzhen that sells children's books. worth a try!
I'm seriously considering getting the whole series in. The only issue is how to have it sent here.

i tried asking my friends for bookstore addresses in shenzhen but none could tell me too. im seriously contemplating ordering online now and getting them to send to my hongkong hotel in 2weeks time. but i duno if they can deliver by then, coz i'd only be there for 4days.... do u think itz possible? my mandarin is poor if u ask me to search for such info on dangdang or taobao. can u help? - how long they take to deliver to hongkong mainland? -

Not familiar with bookshops in Shenzhen. Google also can't get much out of it. Dangdang can go by EMS to HK, 3-7 days, as stated on their website. But i'm not sure if that's the best option, coz there's been quite a number of issues with dangdang's delivery, as i read from another thread. I would think buying direct from taobao and having it shipped here (via 3rd party courier) is still the preferred approach (imho). Trying to find how to go about doing it. :xedfingers:If u have the info on the bookstore in shenzhen that sells those books that we want, i dun mind gg to search for it there. im prepared to spend half a day looking at books in shenzhen. then the other 1quarter just shopping around for clothes and misc. hehehe

I think chinese books r worth investing in coz can b passed on n our singapore kids dun have v gd chinese bkground.
Btw,some r stated to b frm popular but went to ask but cun find too…? -
I think we cun buy n ship here coz waiting time wud b soooo long.might get it only nearly 1mth later… So will prefer to search there unless im looking for other non sch materials
-
actually if we use 3rd party shipper will be faster. I’m still trying to source for one.
